Who are we?

For the last seven years we, a group of family and friends have been Eagles season ticket holders. From the onset we developed a love of the atmosphere and excitement of the tailgates. We soon started holding our own tailgates every week. In the beginning our tailgates were very slapdash and we were lucky if we remembered to bring a spatula to turn over the burgers on our little hibachi (I had many burned fingers during this period).

Since then we have expanded and gotten more organized. To reduce confusion and make sure that everyone knew who had which tickets, and was responsible for bringing which item, we developed spreadsheets and eventually published them to this web site. We also started bringing a camera to each tailgate so we could take a pictorial history of the events for posterity sake :-). This basically ensures that none of us will ever be able to run for public office due to the many pictures of us in vary states of inebriation.

Additionally, we've expanded our tools and tailgate items. From the days of 2 or 3 little crappy hibachis and a few folding chairs, we now have tents, grills, smokers, generators, music systems, folding tables, keg coolers, and canopies. This ensures that no matter what the weather is we can still have a great tailgate and eat some good food as opposed to just basic hamburgers and hot dogs.

Finally, the tailgates have grown from 6-8 people to upwards of 30 or more on really big games. Sometimes the tailgates are so much fun that it's tough to leave it to go into the game itself. Especially since our tickets are in section 209, which is the very very VERY top of the stadium in the end zone. We are basically 6 rows from the top at the corner of the end zone, which is a HELL of a haul up the ramps after you've been eating and drinking for hours. After a really kick ass tailgate it takes several pit stops to catch your breath and hit the bathroom before you make it to your seats.
